        "content": "<p>Officials meet on traffic order areas<\/p>\n<p>Officers from related institutions will meet today at city<br>\npolice headquarters to discuss the strict enforcement of traffic<br>\nregulations in selected areas of the city.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the City Police Traffic Investigation Unit Lt. Col.<br>\nHerman S. Sumawiredja told The Jakarta Post yesterday<br>\nparticipants of the meeting will include the Municipal Traffic<br>\nPolice Directorate, Public Works Office, Traffic and Land<br>\nTransportation Control (DLLAJ) Office and the Judicial and Court<br>\noffices.<\/p>\n<p>He said the one-day meeting is expected to help solve the<br>\ncurrent problems facing officers carrying out their duties in the<br>\nselected areas.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;For example, we hope DLLAJ will install the required traffic<br>\nsigns and the Public Works Office will further improve the<br>\nquality of the roads,&quot; he said. &quot;Then we have the legal right to<br>\nticket a pedestrian who refuses to use the available zebra<br>\ncrossing.&quot;(bsr)<\/p>",
