        "content": "<p>Officer dismissed over Ecstasy<\/p>\n<p>UJUNGPANDANG, S. Sulawesi: The Ujungpandang military tribunal<br>\ndismissed Capt. Leonardo Uiyana from the police force and<br>\nsentenced him to two years and three months imprisonment for<br>\nabusing and trafficking Ecstasy pills.<\/p>\n<p>Leonardo was arrested last January in his office at the South<br>\nSulawesi provincial police traffic department. Police seized<br>\nseven pills and Rp 1.6 million (US$457), which was allegedly the<br>\ncash he received from selling the drugs.<\/p>\n<p>Leonardo, a graduate of the Police Academy in Semarang in<br>\n1988, was found guilty Thursday of using and distributing the<br>\ndrug since November last year, according to the tribunal presided<br>\nover by Col. L.H. Muldy.<\/p>\n<p>Leonardo was said to have received 400 pills for Rp 30,000<br>\neach from an acquaintance, identified only as Aleks, in Jakarta.<br>\nHe sold the pills for Rp 40,000 each.
