        "content": "<p>Office boy with a 'sarjana' degree<\/p>\n<p>From Suara Karya<\/p>\n<p>Through this letter, I would like to ask help from the<br>\ngovernment or readers who may have a solution to my problem.<\/p>\n<p>My name is Rujito, a civil servant, ID No. 130494381. Current<br>\nposition: office boy of an elementary school in Minggiran which<br>\nis under the management of the Ministry of Education and<br>\nCulture's office in South Yogyakarta. I have a bachelor's degree<br>\nin education, majoring in educational guidance and consultation.<\/p>\n<p>The problem is, I was officially appointed as a civil servant<br>\nin 1975 when I only had a junior high school certificate. Later,<br>\nI continued my studies and graduated from high school in 1980,<br>\nand in 1986 from the Teachers Training Institute.<\/p>\n<p>After obtaining the higher education certificates, I had hoped<br>\nto upgrade my living standard and increase my knowledge.<\/p>\n<p>I have tried many things, but until today there have been no<br>\nresults. Some of the things which I have done are:<br>\n 1. Asking for the school to accept my bachelor's certificate,<br>\nreplacing the high school certificate I last submitted. It was<br>\nturned down on the grounds that I am only an office boy.<br>\n 2. Proposing to join the Yogyakarta office of the Ministry of<br>\nEducation and Culture's. It was also turned down on the grounds<br>\nthat my civil servant number (130) is the number of employees of<br>\nthe central office.<br>\n 3. Proposing to join the Yogyakarta office of the Ministry of<br>\nEducation and Culture as a teacher or educator. It was also<br>\nturned down because to be a teacher\/educator of the regional<br>\noffice, one has to be a civil servant of the III\/A category. My<br>\ncategory is II\/A.<\/p>\n<p>I hope that the ministry or readers can help me to solve this<br>\nproblem and help make my dreams come true.<\/p>\n<p>RUJITO<\/p>\n<p>Minggiran, Jl.
