        "content": "<p>OECD maintains forecast<\/p>\n<p>ROME (Reuters): The Organization for Economic Co-operation and<br>\nDevelopment will maintain its 1998 forecast for growth in<br>\ndeveloped nations, despite the current crisis in Indonesia, an<br>\nOECD chief economist said on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Ignazio Visco told Reuters Television Italia the economic<br>\ngrouping would stick with its 2.5 percent prediction, having<br>\ntaken into account Indonesia&apos;s political and economic problems<br>\nwhen making its six-monthly forecast.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The crisis is very serious, and we kept this in mind when we<br>\nmade our forecasts for OECD countries,&quot; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Now the situation has worsened.
