        "content": "<p>Indonesian runner Odekta Naibaho was impressed by the enthusiasm of\nparticipants at the Merdeka Run 2026, which took place at Merdeka Palace\nin Jakarta on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The Indonesian running athlete considered the running event, part of\nthe series of events for the 81st anniversary of the Republic of\nIndonesia, to be very lively.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWow, really cool. I even said, the roads are sterile, and on the\nleft and right it\u2019s like wow, extraordinary. Actually, this is the kind\nof event we want,\u201d Odekta told reporters in Jakarta on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>According to Odekta, the cheers from spectators along the route\npassing through the HI Roundabout and Jalan Sudirman before returning to\nMerdeka Palace were highly motivating throughout the event.<\/p>\n<p>Odekta said her finishing time exceeded the target she had set for\nthe eight-kilometre event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWas the time limit target met? It exceeded my target. Too fast.\nEarlier it was 26 minutes and some seconds. Too fast, per kilometre it\ncould be 3 minutes 20 seconds,\u201d said Odekta.<\/p>\n<p>The Merdeka Run 2026 was attended by 12,000 participants from various\nbackgrounds.<\/p>\n<p>This number increased significantly after the free event was\ninitially targeted to be attended by 8,000 participants.<\/p>",
