(Humanized Technology, Obor<br>\nIndonesia, 1996).<\/p>\n<p>It is absurd that people continue to develop this destructive<br>\ntechnology which is capable of annihilating the whole<br>\ncivilization.<\/p>\n<p>To compensate this darker side of nuclear technology, nuclear<br>\npower has been tested under the disguise of \"nuclear energy for<br>\npeace\". Experience has shown that this kind of nuclear power<br>\nkilled people in Chernobyl and caused widespread devastation.<br>\nAccording to Nicholas Lenssen, besides instant deaths it was<br>\nestimated that 14,000 to 475,000 cancer-related deaths were also<br>\ndetected as a direct result of the tragedy.
