East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province has received an allocation of\nHealth Operational Assistance (BOK) funds amounting to Rp 651.64 billion\nfor the 2026 fiscal year. The funds serve as a primary instrument to\nsupport primary healthcare services, priority health programmes, and the\nstrengthening of the regional health system.<\/p>\n
Head of the NTT Regional Office of the Directorate General of\nTreasury (DJPb), Adi Setiawan, stated that the allocation comprises BOK\nfor Puskesmas, BOK for District Health Offices, BOK for Food and Drug\nSupervision, and special allowances for specialist and sub-specialist\ndoctors serving in island, remote, and border areas (DKTP).<\/p>\n
\u201cIn the 2026 fiscal year, NTT Province received a BOK allocation of\nRp 651.64 billion, consisting of BOK for Puskesmas, BOK for District\nHealth Offices, BOK for Food and Drug Supervision, and Special\nAllowances for Specialist and Sub-specialist Doctors serving in Island,\nRemote, and Border Areas,\u201d Adi explained on Friday (19\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n
He noted, however, that as of 15 June 2026, the realisation of BOK\ndisbursement in NTT had reached Rp 187.75 billion, or 28.81 percent of\nthe total allocation. Although the nominal amount is slightly lower than\nthe 2025 allocation of Rp 657.81 billion, BOK funds remain a key source\nfor basic healthcare services in the region. Historically, NTT\u2019s BOK\nallocation has been relatively stable, but its realisation has not yet\nbeen optimal.<\/p>\n
Historical data shows an improving trend in BOK disbursement\nrealisation in NTT. In 2024, the allocation was Rp 599.54 billion with a\nrealisation of Rp 499.76 billion, or 83 percent. Meanwhile, in 2025, the\nallocation increased to Rp 657.81 billion with a realisation of Rp\n566.94 billion, or 86 percent. Adi expressed hope that the 2026\nrealisation could be more optimal through the acceleration of submission\nof disbursement requirements by local governments to the Ministry of\nHealth and disbursement by the Ministry of Finance through KPPN offices\nin NTT.<\/p>\n
Regarding the breakdown of the 2026 BOK allocation, the BOK for\nDistrict Health Offices is set at Rp 194.03 billion. As of mid-June\n2026, realisation had reached Rp 95.95 billion, or 49.45 percent. Adi\nnoted that the highest realisation rates were recorded in Kupang City,\nManggarai Regency, East Sumba, Nagekeo, and Central Sumba, each reaching\napproximately 50 percent. \u201cPhase I disbursement to 23 local governments\nwas faster, occurring in February-March 2026 compared to July 2025 last\nyear,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, BOK for Puskesmas received the largest allocation,\ntotalling Rp 376.05 billion. Its realisation to date has reached Rp\n67.50 billion, or 17.95 percent. \u201cCentral Sumba recorded the highest at\n60.69 percent. As of June 2026, 15 Puskesmas have already received Phase\nII, up from 12 Puskesmas in the same period in 2025,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
For BOK for Food and Drug Supervision, the allocation provided is Rp\n7 billion, with a realisation of Rp 3.5 billion, or 50 percent. \u201cAll\nrecipient local governments have received Phase I. East Flores received\nthe largest allocation of Rp 670.99 million,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
The special allowance for specialist and sub-specialist doctors,\nwhich is being disbursed through the BOK scheme for the first time this\nyear, is allocated at Rp 74.55 billion. \u201cRealisation stands at Rp 20.80\nbillion, or 27.90 percent, for 176 doctors in DTPK areas. Belu recorded\nthe highest at 37.22 percent,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n
Adi emphasised that the DJPb Regional Office for NTT continues to\nencourage the acceleration of Non-Physical Special Allocation Fund (DAK)\nBOK disbursement through intensive coordination with local governments\nand relevant agencies. \u201cThis acceleration is expected to improve the\nquality of public health services, strengthen promotive and preventive\nefforts, and support the equitable distribution of health workers across\nall NTT regions,\u201d he stated. He also urged local governments to improve\nplanning quality, complete the required disbursement documents, and\noptimise fund utilisation so that the benefits of BOK can be maximally\nfelt by the community.<\/p>\n
