        "content": "<p>The President announced the immediate release of 50,000 emergency\nfood and supply packages, with the initial shipment arriving via\ndistribution hubs in Maumere and Labuan Bajo over the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to ensure that our brothers and sisters there receive fast\nand optimal emergency assistance,\u201d Prabowo stated via social media\nmonitored in Jakarta on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>To ensure a rapid on-target response, Prabowo dispatched a\ncross-sectoral team led by Coordinating Minister for Human Development\nand Culture Pratikno, Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian, Public Works\nMinister Dody Hanggodo, Head of the National Disaster Management Agency\n(BNPB) Suharyanto, as well as Head of the National Search and Rescue\nAgency (Basarnas) Vice Marshal Mohammad Syafii.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to cabinet officials, state-owned enterprises\u2014including\nBulog, state utility PLN, energy provider Pertamina, and\ntelecommunications giant Telkom Indonesia\u2014have been deployed to restore\ncritical infrastructure, power, and communications networks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe safety and basic needs of citizens are the most important thing\nright now.
