        "content": "<p>NTB fighting for its rights<\/p>\n<p>MATARAM, West Nusa Tenggara: Speaker of West Nusa Tenggara<br>\n(NTB) legislative council HL Serinate said here on Saturday that<br>\nsome legislators would visit several ministries in Jakarta to<br>\nfight for the province's rights.<\/p>\n<p>\"It often happens that the province receives what it is due<br>\nvery late,\" Serinate said, citing as an example the royalties<br>\nfrom PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara, Batu Hijau, Sumbawa.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the province received the 2000 royalties from<br>\nNewmont only this year. \"We have not yet received the 2001<br>\nroyalties.\"<\/p>\n<p>According to Serinate, the 2000 royalties should have been<br>\npaid in 2000, while the 2001 royalties should have been paid in<br>\n2001.<\/p>\n<p>\"We also ask members of the House of Representatives (DPR) who<br>\nhail from West Nusa Tenggara to fight for the province,\" he said.<br>\nHe did not disclose the amount of the royalties from Newmont.<br>\n--Antara<\/p>",
