        "content": "<p>Novotel sets up green team<\/p>\n<p>YOGYAKARTA: As parts of its community service program,<br>\nNovotel Yogyakarta Hotel has recently set up a special<br>\nenvironmental team to help charities in the area.<\/p>\n<p>The 11-member &quot;Green Team 2005 -- Revolution&quot; organizes<br>\nschool equipment for child education programs run in Yogyakarta<br>\nand Central Java.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;The team will also conduct an energy-saving campaign around<br>\nthe hotel and environment and collect used goods from the hotel&apos;s<br>\nemployees,&quot; team chairman Bandri said with all the proceeds going<br>\nto other charitable health and education programs.<\/p>\n<p>Public relations manager Erny Kusmastuti said for the last<br>\nfour years the hotel had been carrying out social and<br>\nenvironmental programs.<\/p>\n<p>They included donating stationery and providing free medical<br>\ncheck ups for elementary school children, renovating a musholla<br>\n(small mosque) and converting an office building into a<br>\nkindergarten, and holding a mass cleanup at the Kranggan<br>\ntraditional market. --JP<\/p>",
