        "content": "<p>Global pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk has introduced a brand\nidentity update, adopting the slogan \u201cLasting Health Starts Now\u201d and\nutilising \u201cNovo\u201d as the company name in everyday communications.<\/p>\n<p>The update is accompanied by the introduction of \u201cThe Novo Way\u201d, a\nnew set of corporate culture principles designed to encourage the\norganisation to work with greater focus, speed, and adaptability in\nresponse to changing healthcare service requirements.<\/p>\n<p>President and CEO of Novo, Mike Doustdar, stated that the update to\nthe company\u2019s identity and culture is being implemented amidst shifting\nhealthcare needs and growing public expectations for evolving health\nsolutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHealthcare must become increasingly responsive, relevant, and more\neasily integrated into daily life. Our brand identity and corporate\nculture play a strategic role and will strengthen how we operate and\ncompete, yet our reason for being will not change,\u201d Doupendar said in a\nstatement.<\/p>\n<p>He added that Novo remains focused on developing healthcare\ninnovations, including in the fields of obesity and diabetes, while\nstriving to reach more people with unmet healthcare needs.<\/p>\n<p>Under the update, \u201cNovo\u201d will be used as the company name in daily\ncommunications, while Novo Nordisk A\/S remains the official global name\nof the company. The company has also updated its visual identity,\nretaining the Apis bull logo which has been a part of Novo\u2019s\nhistory.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the brand identity, the company introduced \u201cThe Novo\nWay\u201d, which consists of four key principles: customer obsession,\ncompetitiveness, clarity, and care &amp; integrity.<\/p>\n<p>Tania Sabroe, Executive Vice President of People, Organisation &amp;\nCorporate Affairs at Novo, stated that the corporate culture and brand\nidentity updates are designed to mutually support the execution of the\ncompany\u2019s strategy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur corporate culture update will enable us to move with more focus\nand speed, while the rebranding ensures that Novo remains relevant and\npossesses a distinct character across various aspects, ranging from\nmedicines and partnerships to marketing and stakeholder relations,\u201d said\nSabroe.<\/p>\n<p>According to her, both steps are expected to strengthen the company\u2019s\ncompetitiveness and support Novo\u2019s position as a partner in healthcare\nservices.<\/p>",
