"summary": "The Jakarta Transportation Agency has confirmed that the odd-even vehicle restriction policy is suspended today, Friday (15\/5\/2026), due to the national holiday for the Ascension of Jesus Christ and the accompanying collective leave. This exemption, as outlined in the relevant regulation, allows all four-wheeled or larger vehicles to travel freely on roads typically subject to the scheme without plate number limitations. Motorists are urged to maintain traffic discipline and adhere to signs to mitigate congestion on major routes during the extended holiday period.",
"content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Motorists in Jakarta can still pass freely\nwithout worrying about the odd-even rule on Friday (15\/5\/2026). This is\nbecause the vehicle restriction based on number plate is still suspended\nduring the long holiday period. The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency\n(Dishub) has confirmed that the odd-even policy does not apply in\nconjunction with the national holiday for the Ascension of Jesus Christ\nand the collective leave. This means all four-wheeled or larger vehicles\ncan still pass through roads that normally fall under the odd-even zone\nwithout being restricted by odd or even number plates. Article 3\nparagraph (3) states that traffic restrictions under the odd-even system\nare not enforced on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays as\nstipulated by Presidential Decree. Although the odd-even rule is still\nsuspended, road users are still urged to maintain traffic order and\ncomply with applicable signs. This is important to anticipate potential\nvehicle density on several main roads in Jakarta during the long holiday\nperiod. 1. Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan 2. Jalan Gajah Mada 3. Jalan Hayam\nWuruk 4.
