        "content": "<p>Semarang (ANTARA) - PT KAI Daerah Operasi 4 Semarang has reported\nthat the journey of several trains passing through the northern route\nhas been disrupted due to flooding that has submerged part of the rail\ntracks between Karangjati Station and Gubug in Grobogan Regency, Central\nJava, since early Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Public Relations Manager of PT KAI Daop 4 Semarang, Luqman Arif,\nstated that the flooding has inundated one of the two rail tracks\nbetween the two stations, with a height of up to 25 cm.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, he continued, train journeys must alternate using the\nunaffected track.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFlooding up to 25 cm on the downstream track at KM 32+7\/8.\nSingle-line operation implemented starting at 01:45 WIB because the\nother track is deemed impassable,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He mentioned that at least the journeys of eight trains have been\naffected by this operational adjustment.<\/p>\n<p>Several trains whose journeys have been disrupted include the\nKertajaya and Darmawangsa trains bound for Jakarta, as well as the\nGumarang, Jayabaya, Harina, and Argo Anjasmoro trains bound for\nSurabaya.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTrain journeys are delayed by 10 to 15 minutes as they must\nalternate passing through,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that various operational safety measures are being taken\nto ensure the safety of train journeys.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, intensive monitoring at the location is being\nconducted to ensure the track conditions return to safe and train\njourneys can operate normally.<\/p>\n<p>Heavy rain that lashed Grobogan Regency from Thursday (2\/4) afternoon\nuntil early Friday caused flooding in several locations in the area.<\/p>",
