        "content": "<p>Bandung (ANTARA) - Commission I of the West Java Provincial\nLegislative Council has affirmed that all administrative requirements\nfor the formation of the new autonomous region (DOB) of North Sukabumi\nRegency have been completed, and it is now awaiting a decision from the\ncentral government regarding the lifting of the moratorium.<\/p>\n<p>Member of Commission I of the West Java DPRD, Yusuf Ridwan, stated\nthat all administrative documents are complete and are currently at the\ncentral level for further processing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNorth Sukabumi Regency has been ready for a long time. Our task now\nis to push the central government regarding (the lifting of) the\nmoratorium,\u201d said Yusuf in an official statement in Bandung on\nTuesday.<\/p>\n<p>He appreciated the preparedness of the Sukabumi Regency Government,\nwhich is thorough, including the preparation of a contingency funding\nscheme to support the operations of the new region if the formation is\napproved.<\/p>\n<p>According to Yusuf, the next step that the West Java DPRD will take\nis to coordinate with Commission II of the Indonesian House of\nRepresentatives to ensure the status of the regional formation\nmoratorium.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll regulations have been finalised. Now it depends on the central\ngovernment\u2019s response. We will question whether the moratorium is still\nin place or can be lifted,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He also invited all elements of society to continue monitoring the\nformation process up to the central level, as public support is\nimportant in strengthening political momentum.<\/p>\n<p>Yusuf emphasised that the formation of North Sukabumi Regency is\nurgent to improve public services and equitable development in Sukabumi\nRegency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven though there is currently budget efficiency, the formation\nremains a strategic priority for equitable development and bureaucratic\neffectiveness,\u201d he stated.<\/p>",
