        "content": "<p>Kendari (ANTARA) - North Kolaka Deputy Regent, Southeast Sulawesi, H.\nJumarding, has met with Indonesian Social Affairs Minister Saifullah\nYusuf to discuss the planned construction of a Sekolah Rakyat, a central\ngovernment national programme, in the region. Speaking from Kendari on\nFriday, Deputy Regent Jumarding stated the meeting was held to ensure\nadministrative and technical readiness so the strategic national project\ncan be realised promptly. He noted that during the meeting, the Social\nAffairs Minister paid particular attention to the local government\u2019s\ncommitment, especially regarding land provision. \u201cThe Minister said that\nNorth Kolaka is ready. We just need to complete several requirements so\nthat the construction tender process can commence this October,\u201d\nJumarding said. He explained that the Sekolah Rakyat construction site\nin North Kolaka Regency is planned for Pakue District. \u201cThe choice of\nthis location is expected to broaden the reach of educational services\nand support access for children from underprivileged families,\u201d he\nstated. He emphasised that this programme represents close collaboration\nbetween the central and regional governments in an effort to improve\nhuman resource quality while alleviating poverty. \u201cThe land is provided\nby the district, city, or province. Construction is funded by the state\nbudget. The school principal is proposed by the regional head. This is\njoint work, from start to supervision,\u201d said Saifullah Yusuf. He\nexplained that under the programme\u2019s scheme, all physical construction\ncosts for the school will be fully borne by the state budget, whilst the\nregional government is responsible for providing build-ready land and\nsupporting the smooth execution of the entire process. If all stages\nproceed according to schedule, the construction tender process is\ntargeted to begin in October 2026.<\/p>",
