        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The North Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department\nhas recorded enforcement actions against 1,007 vehicles violating\ntraffic rules in the local area from January 2026 to March 2026. \u201cA\ntotal of 1,007 vehicles were found violating rules in North Jakarta\nduring that period,\u201d said Yulza Ramadhoni Putra, Head of the Traffic and\nRoad Transport Operations Control Section of the North Jakarta\nTransportation Sub-Department, in Jakarta on Tuesday. He stated that the\nenforcement targeted various types of vehicles breaching regulations,\nincluding public transport, pick-up trucks, box vans, trucks,\nmotorcycles, and private vehicles. According to him, supervision and\nenforcement are carried out routinely to provide a deterrent effect\nwhile maintaining smooth traffic flow, particularly at violation-prone\npoints. He mentioned that 794 vehicles were issued Examination Report\nNotices (BAP) or tickets, and 25 vehicles were subjected to operational\nstop sanctions. Additionally, 40 two-wheeled vehicles and five\nfour-wheeled vehicles underwent Tyre Deflation Operations (OCP) during\nthat period. Meanwhile, 213 vehicles were towed and impounded by\nofficers due to illegal parking. He emphasised that all enforcement\nactions have been based on applicable regulations as part of efforts to\ncreate public order on roadways. According to him, around 40 combined\npersonnel are deployed daily to patrol violation-prone locations,\nespecially areas often used for illegal parking. He urged the public to\nbe more disciplined in traffic, including complying with signs and not\nparking vehicles haphazardly. \u201cThrough consistent and measured\nenforcement, we hope that public awareness of traffic compliance,\nparticularly in North Jakarta, will continue to increase,\u201d he said.<\/p>",
