North Jakarta Mayor Hendra Hidayat has urged local residents to\nalways maintain unity amid the diversity that characterises North\nJakarta.<\/p>\n
\u201cDifferences are not a weakness, but a strength that we must nurture\ntogether. Let us keep North Jakarta safe, orderly, and harmonious,\u201d\nHendra said at the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad\u2019s birthday 1448\nHijriah in Jakarta on Friday.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe also invite the entire community to increase social awareness,\nespecially towards orphans and the underprivileged,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
According to Hendra, care for others must become a collective\nmovement that continues to grow within society. He also reminded of the\nimportance of the younger generation\u2019s role in safeguarding the city\u2019s\nfuture.<\/p>\n
He believes young people need to be directed towards positive\nactivities to avoid various negative influences.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe must work together to protect the younger generation from\ndestructive things such as brawls, drugs, and online gambling. Let us\nfill their time with beneficial activities,\u201d Hendra said.<\/p>\n
Therefore, Hendra said the Prophet Muhammad\u2019s birthday commemoration\nat the Al Musyawarah Mosque serves as evidence that the spirit of\ntogetherness, care, and unity continues to grow within North Jakarta\nsociety.<\/p>\n
