        "content": "<p>Nomura beefs up RI presence<\/p>\n<p>HONG KONG (Dow Jones): Nomura International, the regional arm<br>\nof leading Japanese brokerage firm Nomura Securities Co., is<br>\nlooking to beef up its equity research presence in Malaysia and<br>\nIndonesia, a top company official told Dow Jones Newswires<br>\nMonday.<\/p>\n<p>Jim Walker, the managing director of Nomura International<br>\n(Hong Kong) Ltd., said Nomura has largely put in place the equity<br>\nteam it set out to assemble from April 1998, when the Japanese<br>\nbroker began rebuilding its broking operations in the region. But<br>\nit's still adding people \"here and there,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>In Malaysia, where Nomura has two analysts at present, Nomura<br>\nis \"actively looking to hire another two or three,\" and the<br>\ncompany is \"just about to make a decision to re-activate in<br>\nIndonesia,\" Walker said.<\/p>",
