The Sleman Regency Government has strengthened supervision to ensure\nenergy availability for residents in welcoming Eid al-Fitr 1447 AH.\nThrough direct monitoring at LPG agents and depots, the government\nensures that the 3 kg LPG stock remains secure with smooth\ndistribution.<\/p>\n
Monitoring conducted at PT Expra Baru Agent in Nogotirto and Fajar\nGroup Grosir Depot in Balecatur on Thursday (5\/3) was carried out as an\neffort to ensure subsidised LPG stock is available to the public.<\/p>\n
Secretary of the Sleman Regency Secretariat Susmiarto explained that\nthe 3 kg LPG quota allocated to Sleman for 2026 reaches 47,014 metric\ntons (MT) or equivalent to 15,671,333 cylinders. However, as a\nprecaution against potential shortages during national holidays, the\nlocal government has submitted additional facultative quotas\nincrementally.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe additions peaked in March with an extra 219,360 cylinders, to\noffset the surge in demand during Ramadan through Eid al-Fitr,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n
The Regency Government is keen to ensure residents do not have\ndifficulty obtaining 3 kg LPG cylinders. Accordingly, it has submitted\nadditional facultative quotas to Pertamina to cover gaps in deliveries\nduring holidays.<\/p>\n
He hopes that with this expansion, household needs as well as micro\nenterprises can be met properly and that there will be no shortages.<\/p>\n
On prices, Susmiarto stressed that the 3 kg LPG Retail Price Ceiling\n(HET) remains stable in line with the Governor of DI Yogyakarta\nRegulation No.\u00a0457\/KEP\/2024. The price at depots is set at Rp18,000 per\ncylinder, supported by distribution from 38 agents and 2,802 depots\nacross Sleman.<\/p>\n
In addition to stock availability, consumer protection is also\nprioritised through checks on the accuracy of gas volumes by the UPTD\nMetrologi Legal.<\/p>\n
\u201cBased on random sampling checks from the SPPBE level to retailers,\nthe volume of 3 kg LPG circulating in Sleman still meets the threshold\nset, namely 8 kg with a tolerance of plus-minus 90 grams,\u201d he\nexplained.<\/p>\n
The public, he said, need not worry about the contents of the\ncylinder as we continue to conduct strict quantity oversight.<\/p>\n
Besides LPG, monitoring also targets the readiness of 51 SPBU and 27\nPertashop in Sleman. The Sleman Regency Industry and Trade Office is\nalso actively conducting metrological checks on fuel filling equipment\nto ensure fairness for consumers.<\/p>\n
Susmiarto urged the public not to fall into excess shopping or panic\nbuying that could disrupt market stability.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Regency has communicated with PT Pertamina Patra Niaga and\nHiswana Migas that the needs for subsidised BBM and LPG will be met\nduring the Eid holidays. We ask the public to shop wisely according to\nneed only.
