        "content": "<p>Chair of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Faction in the House of\nRepresentatives, Putri Zulkifli Hasan, has appreciated the government\u2019s\ndecision to ensure no increase in fuel prices from 1 April 2026.\nAccording to her, this is important to maintain public purchasing\npower.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis policy is crucial for safeguarding public purchasing power and\neconomic stability,\u201d stated Putri Zulhas in a written statement on\nTuesday (31\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>This Deputy Chair of Commission XII of the House of Representatives\nemphasised that this momentum must be utilised to strengthen the\nlong-term energy agenda, as affirmed in the II National Conference of\nPAN 2026, particularly through campaigns for energy saving and wise\nusage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPAN encourages an energy saving and wise usage movement among all\ncadres as a concrete step to maintain national energy resilience,\u201d she\nexplained.<\/p>\n<p>She added that energy price stability needs to be accompanied by\naccelerating the transition to more sustainable energy sources, while\nsupporting the government vision of President Prabowo Subianto for\nenergy self-sufficiency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe PAN Faction is ready to oversee energy policies that not only\nmaintain current stability but also strengthen national energy\nindependence in the future,\u201d she asserted.<\/p>\n<p>The PAN Faction also urges PT Pertamina (Persero) to ensure smooth\nand targeted fuel distribution.<\/p>\n<p>Putri further emphasised the importance of field oversight of fuel\ndistribution and firm action against deviant practices, including\nmisappropriation and hoarding.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe demand tighter distribution oversight and no room for\nmisappropriation or fuel hoarding practices.
