        "content": "<p>No clues in Semarang bombing, say police<\/p>\n<p>SEMARANG (JP): Police have yet to find any clues in the recent<br>\nbombing at Christ Alfa Omega Tabernakel Bethel Church in<br>\nSemarang, which injured two women on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Central Java Police chief Insp. Gen. M.A. Erwin MAP said on<br>\nWednesday that the bombing was still a mystery. \"However, people<br>\nmust remain calm, and trust the police,\" he told Antara.<\/p>\n<p>Some witnesses, including the pastor, the church parking lot<br>\nattendant and security guards, have been questioned, but the<br>\npolice said they were still in the dark.<\/p>\n<p>Susana Hilda Riyanti, 50, the wife of the pastor, Timotius<br>\nSubekti, suffered serious injuries to her legs, while her<br>\n30-year-old daughter, Ferra, was only slightly injured when the<br>\nbomb exploded in their Toyota Kijang van in the church parking<br>\nlot.<\/p>\n<p>Doctors at Tlogorejo Hospital in Semarang have amputated her<br>\nright leg due to the severity of her wounds.<\/p>\n<p>One member of the medical team, Dr. Suhardiyono, said she was<br>\nrecovering. \"She is out of the critical stage. She will be fine<br>\nand will be taken to Singapore for final treatment.\"<\/p>\n<p>According to a preliminary investigation, the bomb was a<br>\nhomemade low explosive, officer Erwin said.<\/p>\n<p>\"All evidence collected from the bomb site, including the<br>\nfragments of batteries, are still being examined at the<br>\nlaboratory. Therefore, I cannot yet confirm anything about it.\"<\/p>\n<p>In a related development, Central Java (Diponegoro) Military<br>\nCommand chief Maj. Gen. Sumarsono said that the bombing had<br>\ndisturbed the tranquility of Central Java.<\/p>\n<p>\"Acts of terror at houses of worship usually works.
