        "content": "<p>Nissan forming joint venture Yulon<\/p>\n<p>TOKYO: Nissan Motor Co. is forming a joint venture with Yulon<br>\nMotor Co. to sell Nissan cars in Taiwan and support Nissan's<br>\nefforts to expand in the Chinese market, the Japanese automaker<br>\nsaid Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Yulon, Taiwan's largest automaker, will take a 60 percent<br>\nstake in the new company, while Nissan, Japan's third-largest<br>\nautomaker, will own 40 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Both sides reached a preliminary agreement with details to be<br>\nworked out by the end of the year, Nissan said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Yulon, which has major operations in China, manufactures<br>\nNissan products and has a cooperative relationship with Nissan.<\/p>\n<p>Like other automakers, Nissan is seeking to expand sales in<br>\nChina, where the consumer car market is growing. -- AP<\/p>",
