        "content": "<p>Nine judges deployed to Aceh<\/p>\n<p>MEDAN, North Sumatra: The government has sent nine judges to<br>\nAceh to try crimes related to separatist activities<br>\nin the war-torn province.<\/p>\n<p>The nine judges previously presiding in district courts in<br>\nNorth Sumatra have been reassigned to Aceh after receiving<br>\nnotification of the move from Director General for District Court<br>\nand State Administrative Court Affairs Soejatno.<\/p>\n<p>Medan High Court Chief Slamet Riyanto said in Medan on<br>\nWednesday that the nine judges would occupy positions in district<br>\ncourts in Aceh for a three-month period in order to try crimes<br>\ninvolving rebels in the province.<\/p>\n<p>He conceded that he was unaware of criteria used by the<br>\nMinistry of Justice and Human Rights in relocating the judges.<br>\nHowever, he felt that several of the judges who were originally<br>\nfrom Aceh were glad to be given the new assignment as it meant a<br>\nreturn to their hometown.<\/p>\n<p>The nine judges are Nazar Efriandi, Maratua Rambe, Fausul<br>\nHamdi, Hamdan Hasibuan, Musa Arief Aini, Maulana Sudarto, Agus<br>\nSunardi, Syaiful Aswir and Muhammad Irfan. --JP<\/p>",
