        "content": "<p>The activists arrived at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in\nTangerang, Banten, after being released from Israeli detention on May\n21.<\/p>\n<p>They had been detained after Israeli forces intercepted ships\nparticipating in the GSF humanitarian convoy on May 18.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, we welcome our humanitarian volunteers who were detained by\nthe Israeli military. They have all returned safely,\u201d Sugiono told\nreporters upon their arrival.<\/p>\n<p>He said the Indonesian government coordinated with several countries\nduring efforts to secure the activists\u2019 release and return.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe extend our gratitude to the governments of Turkiye, Jordan, and\nEgypt for assisting in the repatriation of our citizens,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Sugiono reiterated Indonesia\u2019s condemnation of the violence and\nmistreatment experienced by international volunteers, including\nIndonesians, during their detention by Israeli forces.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndonesia again condemns Israel\u2019s treatment of our fellow citizens\nand humanitarian volunteers.
