        "content": "<p>MINA \u2014 Security patrols in Makkah have arrested four nationals from\nIndia and Bangladesh in connection with a fraud and embezzlement case\ninvolving the publication of fake advertisements and misleading\ninformation concerning hajj services on social media platforms.<\/p>\n<p>The authorities have seized forged cards, documents, and equipment\nused in the scheme. The suspects have been detained, processed through\nthe legal system, and referred to the Public Prosecution.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, hajj security personnel have also arrested five Turkish\nnationals for violating hajj regulations and provisions by attempting to\nenter and reside in Makkah via village roads and valleys without\nobtaining hajj authorisation.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of these actions, Saudi Arabian authorities have\ninitiated legal proceedings against the individuals.<\/p>\n<p>The authorities have urged the public to comply with regulations\ngoverning the 1447 Hijriyah (2026) hajj season and to cooperate with\nrelevant authorities in order to ensure the safety and security of\npilgrims.
