        "content": "<p>Nightspots vandalized for ignoring regulations<\/p>\n<p>MAKASSAR, South Sulawesi (JP): Dozens of people, claiming to<br>\nbe members of Laskar Jundullah, a Muslim organization, destroyed<br>\na nightspot on Thursday for ignoring operating hours during the<br>\nMuslim fasting month.<\/p>\n<p>It was the second such action by the group, having vandalized<br>\na karaoke hall last Saturday for a similar reason.<\/p>\n<p>The Muslim group claimed to be the task force of the Committee<br>\nfor the Preparation of the Enforcement of Syariah Islam. It was<br>\nled by Agus Dwikarna during the pre-dawn raid on Terminal One<br>\nCafe on Jl. Rusa.<\/p>\n<p>The group smashed windows and all electronic goods in the<br>\nbuilding, seized hundreds of bottles of liquor and scores of<br>\npornographic compact video discs.<\/p>\n<p>Agus said that the management of Terminal One had violated the<br>\ndeal with the local administration. &quot;We turned over what we<br>\nseized to the police.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>The sudden raid on the three-story nightspot scared the<br>\nguests, who fled seeking safety.<\/p>\n<p>Agus said that the Makassar administration and the police<br>\nshould actively monitor the nightspots during the Muslim holy<br>\nmonth of Ramadhan. &quot;Adamant nightspot owners will face the<br>\npeople.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Ass.
