        "content": "<p>Nightspots to remain open in Palu<\/p>\n<p>PALU, Central Sulawesi: Unlike some other administrations, the<br>\ncity authorities announced on Saturday that it would not close<br>\nnightspots and entertainment centers during the coming Ramadhan<br>\nfasting month.<\/p>\n<p>\"The city administration will not instruct nightspots and<br>\nentertainment centers to cease operations during Ramadhan but<br>\nwill limit their opening to only two and a half hours per day.<br>\nThey will open at 8:30 p.m. local time,\" said Kasman Lassa,<br>\nspokesman for the city administration.<\/p>\n<p>Lassa said the decision was made after considering opinions<br>\nfrom numerous sides, including local religious organizations.<\/p>\n<p>He also said local authorities would supervise all nightspots,<br>\nkaraoke and billiard centers to make sure the ruling was complied<br>\nwith.<\/p>\n<p>\"Authorities will take tight measures against any violation to<br>\nthe ruling,\" he said. --Antara<\/p>",
