Nightspots disobey authority's order<\/p>\n
TANGERANG, West Java (JP): Three nightspots, FM3 Transit
\nHotel, Model discotheque, and Singapore Karaoke have again
\nviolated the allowed operational hours.<\/p>\n
The nightspot owners were reprimanded by the local authority
\nand warned to comply with the allowed operational hours of 9 p.m
\nto 2 a.m. on regular days and from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Sunday,
\nfollowing the protest by over 1,000 Moslems two weeks ago.<\/p>\n
However, the establishments only temporarily obeyed the order
\nand have once again opened from 6 pm to 6 am.<\/p>\n
According to the Moslem protesters two weeks ago, the three
\nnight establishments were being used as a brothel, a place for
\ndrug trafficking, and a place for featuring impolite singers
\nrespectively.<\/p>\n
Gendon Suryojoyo, the FM3 hotel manager, refused to comment
\nwhen asked by The Jakarta Post on why the hotel once again
\nbreached the regulation.<\/p>\n
The Post also found on Friday night that many prostitutes were
\nstill seen offering their services at Singapore Karaoke. The
\nowner, known as Lie, was not available for comment. (18\/26)<\/p>",
