"summary": "Indonesia's cumulative exports from January to March 2026 reached US$66.85 billion, marking a modest 0.34% increase from the previous year, primarily propelled by the processing industry sector which grew 3.96% to US$54.93 billion, led by nickel, organic basic chemicals from agriculture, palm oil, and semiconductors. While the processing sector provided the sole support for export growth, declines were observed in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries (down 32.18% to US$1.14 billion) and mining (down 11.17% to US$7.47 billion). For March alone, exports contracted by 3.10% to US$22.53 billion year-on-year, attributed to sharp drops in non-oil and gas commodities such as vegetable fats and oils, cocoa products, and coffee, tea, and spices.",
