        "content": "<p>Ngruki school to hold seminar<\/p>\n<p>SURAKARTA: Al-Mukmin Islamic Boarding School in Ngruki here,<br>\nwhose students and leaders, including Abu Bakar Ba'asyir, had<br>\nbeen accused of involvement in terrorist activities, is set to<br>\nhold an international seminar on Islam and Globalization.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar will take place in a hotel here on Aug. 12, and<br>\namong the participants invited to attend the function are foreign<br>\nenvoys from 10 embassies in Indonesia, including the United<br>\nStates Embassy, and representatives from religious organizations,<br>\nincluding the Indonesian Communion of Churches (PGI).<\/p>\n<p>Wahyudin, the director of the boarding school, said that the<br>\nseminar was aimed at showing the public that the boarding school<br>\nwas tolerant and did not intend to turn Indonesia into an Islamic<br>\nstate. -- JP<\/p>",
