        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - The case of the acid attack on the deputy\ncoordinator of KontraS, Andrie Yunus, has entered a new phase.<\/p>\n<p>The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) sought information\nfrom the Metro Jaya Police regarding the case on Monday (30\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Komnas HAM Monitoring and Investigation Commissioner Saurlin P\nSiagian stated that the summons aimed to ascertain the steps taken by\nthe Metro Jaya Police in handling the incident that befell Andrie.<\/p>\n<p>The information-gathering session lasted around three hours, from\n10:00 to 13:00 WIB, at the Komnas HAM office in Menteng.<\/p>\n<p>The session was attended by the Director of General Criminal\nInvestigation (Dirreskrimum) of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol Iman\nImanuddin, along with several staff members.<\/p>\n<p>From the meeting, Komnas HAM has collected several facts related to\nthe handling of the acid attack case against Andrie. However, Saurlin\nhas not detailed those findings.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, Komnas HAM still requires additional data to\ncomplete the monitoring process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe we have gathered enough facts that we needed; several\nmatters have been conveyed, and we are still requesting a few more items\nfrom the Metro Jaya Police to be submitted to us,\u201d Saurlin said.<\/p>\n<p>To Komnas HAM, the Metro Jaya Police also admitted to having\nsubmitted some documents required for the case handling to the TNI.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Metro Jaya Police side is still delving into the involvement of\nnon-TNI parties. They are still conducting further investigation\nprocesses,\u201d Saurlin stated.<\/p>\n<p>After seeking information from the police, Komnas HAM plans to seek\ninformation from the TNI side in the near future, given that four TNI\nsoldiers are suspected of being involved in this case.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will continue to monitor this case, and in the near future, we\nwill summon the TNI side,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>Saurlin clarified that the summons is directed to the TNI\ninstitution. However, he could not yet confirm who would attend the\nexamination.<\/p>",
