        "content": "<p>Wellington (ANTARA) - New Zealand has updated its national fuel plan\nto address supply uncertainties caused by conflicts in the Middle\nEast.<\/p>\n<p>New Zealand Finance Minister Nicola Willis stated during a press\nconference on Friday (27\/3) that there is currently \u201cno need to impose\nfuel restrictions\u201d, but the government is taking early steps to ensure\nthe country is prepared to respond to the situation.<\/p>\n<p>The plan outlines four escalating response phases covering petrol,\ndiesel, and jet fuel, tailored proportionally to risks to New Zealand\u2019s\nfuel supply resilience. The country is currently in Phase 1.<\/p>\n<p>Phase 1 focuses on monitoring global developments and relaxing\nrestrictions, such as fuel specifications, to enhance supply\nflexibility.
