        "content": "<p>New website to help investors buy bonds in Asian markets<\/p>\n<p>Potential investors -- be they institutional, retail, local or<br>\nforeign -- can buy and trade Asian government securities through<br>\nthe Asian Development Bank's (ADB) AsianBondsOnline website.<\/p>\n<p>In the website's How to Buy Bonds section, investors are<br>\nguided on the procedures of bond trading in 10 Asian markets --<br>\nChina, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, the<br>\nPhilippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p>\"This is the first time a primer covering such a wide array of<br>\nAsian markets is available to the investing public in one place<br>\nonline,\" said Pradumna B. Rana, senior director of ADB's new<br>\nOffice of Regional Economic Integration (OREI), in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\"Information provided in this section will enhance the supply<br>\nof and generate demand for East Asian local currency bonds and<br>\nreduce the double mismatch problem.\"<\/p>\n<p>Supported by ADB and financed by the Japanese government,<br>\nAsianBondsOnline, which was launched on Tuesday, is part of the<br>\nASEAN+3 Asian Bond Markets Initiative (ABMI), a cooperative<br>\neffort to help develop mature bond markets in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, How to Buy Bonds is limited to government bonds and<br>\nsecurities.
