        "content": "<p>New terminal for migrant workers<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: In a bid to improve the quality of service for<br>\nmigrant workers, a new terminal is being built and will be ready<br>\nfor use at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport later this year.<\/p>\n<p>The new facility will enable migrant workers to go straight to<br>\ntheir hometowns.<\/p>\n<p>The regular Terminal III, where extortion of home-coming<br>\nmigrant workers is rampant, will be used for other interests by<br>\nthe airport management PT Angkasa Pura.<\/p>\n<p>Director of labor protection at the ministry of manpower and<br>\ntransmigration, Mardjono, said on Monday that the new terminal<br>\nwould cost the government around Rp 70 billion (US$7.2 million).<\/p>\n<p>As part of the improvement in services for the workers, the<br>\ngovernment has also cut transportation fees from the Terminal III<br>\nto their hometowns by 11 percent as of Monday.
