        "content": "<p>'New subway investors no problem'<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Aburizal Bakrie, the chairman of the Indonesian<br>\nJapanese European Group (IJEG) consortium, said the entry of new<br>\ninvestors in the proposed Rp 5 trillion (US$2.1 billion) subway<br>\nproject to connect Blok M in South Jakarta and Kota in West<br>\nJakarta would not affect the initial planning.<\/p>\n<p>\"It's okay and no problem,\" he said Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p>The Kontan weekly reported earlier that Bambang Trihatmodjo,<br>\nPresident Soeharto's second son and Djoko Ramiadji, the son of<br>\nIndonesia's major cosmetics producer Moeryati Soedibyo, would<br>\nofficially enter the project.<\/p>\n<p>Aburizal, who also chairs the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce<br>\nand Industry, said there would be no change even if new investors<br>\nlike Bambang and Djoko joined the project.<\/p>\n<p>He said new investors would not affect the initial planning<br>\nbecause the present consortium had submitted the project's design<br>\nto the Jakarta administration.<\/p>\n<p>Aburizal Bakrie, through his company PT Bakrie Investindo,<br>\nchairs the IJEG consortium which includes PT Pembangunan Jaya,<br>\nLippo Group, PT Bukaka Corporindo and PT Steady Safe.<\/p>\n<p>Observers speculated Bambang, who is expected to become<br>\nconsortium's majority shareholder, could replace Aburizal as the<br>\nconsortium's chairman.<\/p>\n<p>\"The position of the leader in the consortium has nothing to<br>\ndo with the amount of his shares,\" Aburizal said. \"The leader's<br>\ntask is to coordinate the members of the consortium\".<\/p>\n<p>He said members would own equally the consortium's shares.
