        "content": "<p>New roads in Maluku open<\/p>\n<p>AMBON, Maluku: The local administration has opened three new<br>\nland routes connecting Ambon with remote areas in the Seram<br>\nisland.<\/p>\n<p>Chief of the provincial land transportation agency M.R.<br>\nSoulisa said yesterday that opening of the new routes which were<br>\npart of the Trans-Seram road networks would hopefully attract<br>\nbusinesses to invest in the area.<\/p>\n<p>The road, whose construction started in 1974, has not been<br>\ncompleted yet. The Seram island is fast developing and the<br>\ncentral government has invested some Rp 1 trillion (US$476<br>\nmillion).<\/p>\n<p>The funds will go towards the financing of the fishery,<br>\nplantation and farming programs, Antara reported.
