        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com \u2013 Danantara Indonesia menunjuk Luke Thomas Mahony\nsebagai Chief Executive Officer of PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia\n(DSI), the new state-owned enterprise formed specifically to manage the\nexport of strategic natural resource commodities (SDA).<\/p>\n<p>The appointment was disclosed by Danantara\u2019s CEO Rosan Roeslani\nduring a visit to Istana Negara, Jakarta, on Thursday, 21 May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor now, the Chief Executive Officer of PT DSI is Luke Thomas,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>The name Luke Thomas Mahony has been listed as a director in the\nEstablishment Decree (SK) Approval No AHU-0039765.AH.01.01 of 2026,\ndated 19 May 2026, concerning the formation of PT DSI, issued by the\nDirectorate General of Legal Administration Affairs (AHU) of the\nMinistry of Law.<\/p>\n<p>Luke Thomas Mahony is an Australian citizen who previously served as\nSEVP Business Performance &amp; Optimisation at Danantara Indonesia\nsince September 2025.<\/p>\n<p>He is not new to the mining sector. Before joining Danantara, Mahony\nhad more than 21 years of experience in the mining industry.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, he has held various technical and strategic roles at\nVale Base Metals, headquartered in Canada, from July 2014 to August\n2024. Among them, Mahony served as Chief Technical Officer from December\n2022 to February 2024, and continued as Director from February to August\n2024.<\/p>\n<p>Not only at Vale, he has also gained experience at BHP Billiton, the\nAustralian multinational mining company.
