Maranatha despite<br>\na ban by the local administration that prohibits new factory<br>\noutlets in Bandung.<\/p>\n<p>The owner of the new factory outlet, Perry Trisyanto, said the<br>\nBandung public order agency had issued a license for the<br>\nestablishment of his business on a land belonging to the Army's<br>\ncooperative (Puskopad).<\/p>\n<p>\"The license was originally issued for a residence but then I<br>\nworked with the Army cooperative to change the license for<br>\nbusiness,\" Perry told reporters while opening his fifth store.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesman for the Bandung administration, Yuyus Suhaya, said<br>\nhe was uninformed about the approval for Perry to establish a<br>\nfactory outlet. \"I will check with related agencies,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>The local administration banned the establishment of new<br>\nfactory outlets in December 2000, following public complaints<br>\nover traffic congestion resulting from the mushrooming businesses<br>\nselling branded clothes.
