Herman Rozanie yesterday as the new<br>\nchief of the Tangerang military district, replacing Lt. Col.<br>\nKarseno.<\/p>\n<p>Herman previously served as an officer at the Jakarta Military<br>\nCommand, while Karseno has been promoted to assistant to the<br>\ncommand&apos;s intelligence deputy.<\/p>\n<p>Sjafrie said at the installation ceremony that two new<br>\nmilitary subcommands would be established to increase efficiency<br>\nand cooperation among military bases in Greater Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>The two new subcommands will be located in Tangerang and<br>\nBekasi, he said.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;Details on the establishment of the new subcommands are<br>\ncurrently being worked out,&quot; he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Tangerang military subcommand will oversee the Tangerang,<br>\nSouth Jakarta and West Jakarta military districts, while the<br>\nBekasi subcommand the Bekasi, East Jakarta and North Jakarta<br>\nmilitary district.<\/p>\n<p>The Central Jakarta military district will remain as an<br>\nindependent district, he said.
