Alongside the\ninauguration of this new command, a large-scale recruitment drive for\nIndonesian Army (TNI AD) soldiers is underway.<\/p>\n<p>The Commander of the 1615\/East Lombok District Military Command\n(Dandim), Lieutenant Colonel Inf Hadiyansah, stated that Kodam Rinambora\nwill establish various subordinate units. The formation of these units\nautomatically increases the requirement for personnel, leading to a\nsignificant opening for Army candidates.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConsequently, we will be conducting recruitment for a substantial\nnumber of soldiers. This large-scale recruitment is already underway at\nthe district command level,\u201d said Hadiyansah on Tuesday (6\/10\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Hadiyansah revealed that the requirement for Army personnel in NTB\nthis year stands at 2,400 non-commissioned officers (bintara) and 22,000\nenlisted soldiers (tamtama). This high demand presents a new\nopportunity, particularly for local youths aged 18 and above, to join\nthe Indonesian Army.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the large-scale nature of the recruitment, the selection and\nqualification processes for candidates remain unchanged. Hadiyansah\nemphasised that there are no special considerations in the recruitment\nprocess.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe primary requirement is passing the tests. We do not offer\nspecial treatment; for instance, just because East Lombok is densely\npopulated, it does not mean they will receive the most slots. That may\nor may not happen,\u201d Hadiyansah explained.<\/p>\n<p>Hadiyansah claimed that the number of applicants is quite high, with\ninterest doubling compared to previous years. However, he declined to\ndisclose the exact number of applicants.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you look behind us, there are young men here attempting to forge\ntheir futures as soldiers. We always remind them to maintain their\nhealth, as it is one of the essential requirements,\u201d Hadiyansah\nadded.<\/p>",
