        "content": "<p>JAKARTA \u2013 Bali Gapura Marina has begun operating its first two docks\nat the Bali Maritime Tourism Hub (BMTH) area in Benoa Port, Bali. The\nfacility increases service capacity to 75 yachts as part of maritime\ntourism infrastructure development in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>The marina, developed by PT Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva together with PT\nMarina Development Indonesia, is planned to have five docks. Once\nconstruction is fully completed in 2027, marina capacity is targeted to\nrise to 180 yachts, including superyachts of up to 200 feet.<\/p>\n<p>President Director of PT Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva Faruq Hidayat said\nthe marina\u2019s development focuses on providing modern infrastructure,\nraising operational standards, and delivering supporting services for\nmarine tourism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe development of Bali Gapura Marina is part of the company\u2019s\ncommitment to presenting a world-class marina tourism hub that\nprioritises service quality, sustainability, and the use of modern\ntechnology,\u201d Faruq said in a written statement on Monday\n(27\/7\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>President Director of PT Marina Development Indonesia Ulf Backlund\nsaid the marina\u2019s development not only provides berthing facilities but\nalso builds a service ecosystem to support the growth of the yachting\nindustry in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>One of the facilities now in operation is the self-service Captain\u2019s\nSelf Check-In &amp; Check-Out CIQP system. This allows captains or yacht\nowners to complete arrival and departure administrative procedures\nelectronically before the vessel berths, speeding up inspections by\nCustoms, Immigration, Quarantine, and Port Authorities.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to supplying electricity and clean water at every dock,\nthe marina area is equipped with a welcome station integrating travel\nservices, concierge, tenant lounge, CIQP services, and check-in and\ncheck-out facilities for amphibious aircraft (seaplanes).<\/p>\n<p>Going forward, the operator will add various supporting facilities,\nincluding a yacht club, a yacht care service centre, retail areas, and\nlifestyle facilities as part of the Bali Maritime Tourism Hub\ndevelopment.<\/p>\n<p>According to Pelindo Sinergi Lokaseva, the marina\u2019s development is\nexpected to increase domestic and international yacht visits while\ndriving economic activity in Bali\u2019s tourism, maritime logistics,\nhospitality, and micro, small and medium enterprise sectors.<\/p>",
