New local flick reunites veteran actors<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: Long after playing together in the box-office movie
\nseries that started with Catatan Si Boy (Boy's Notebook, 1987),
\nactors Didi Petet and Onky Alexander have got together for the
\nfirst time in 18 years in a new flick.<\/p>\n
Apa Artinya Cinta? (What Does Love Mean?), produced by Soraya
\nIntercine Films, will have the seasoned actors playing the role
\nof the fathers of leads Sandy Aulia and Samuel Rizal, the
\ncountry's two hottest stars of today.<\/p>\n
\"In the film, we are in-laws because Onky's daughter marries
\nmy son,\" Didi was quoted by Detik.com as saying.<\/p>\n
Didi is one of the country's most acclaimed actors and has won
\nseveral awards; he is also a mime actor and a lecturer at the
\nJakarta Arts Institute.<\/p>\n
For shooting, both actors were flown to San Francisco and Los
\nAngeles, two cities in the U.S. that also featured in Catatan Si
\nBoy.<\/p>\n
In one of the most memorable scenes from the '80s film, a
\ntransgender Didi was ganged up upon and bullied by members of a
\nnotorious Hells Angels motorcycle gang on the streets of
