He added\nthat President Prabowo Subianto will soon sign the decree to appoint the\ndefinitive Jampidsus official. The proposed name for the replacement has\nbeen submitted by the Attorney General to the President and has\nundergone discussion in accordance with the Final Assessment Team\nmechanism. \u201cWe reiterate that last week the Attorney General officially\nsent a letter to the President regarding the proposed name for the\nJunior Attorney General for Special Crimes official, as the previous\nofficeholder had submitted a resignation some time ago,\u201d said Prasetyo\nHadi at the Presidential Palace press room in Central Jakarta on\nTuesday, 21 July 2026. According to Prasetyo, the deliberation process\nhas now entered its final stage. The President is scheduled to sign the\nPresidential Decree appointing the new Jampidsus imminently. \u201cAt that\ntime we also requested time for discussion according to the final\nassessment team mechanism, and God willing, within one or two days there\nwill be a decision and the President will sign the Presidential Decree\nappointing the new official,\u201d he stated.
