New investors enter Indoexchange<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Indonesian business and finance portal
\nIndoexchange.com announced on Monday it completed a US$2.9
\nmillion private placement from TFG Venture Capital AG & Co KGaA
\nand PT Giat Utama Sukses.<\/p>\n
TFG Venture Capital is a Germany-based publicly listed venture
\ncapital group and Giat Utama Sukses primarily invests in
\ninformation and technology companies, the company said in a
\nstatement.<\/p>\n
The company, established in 1996, will use the money to build
\na solid e-commerce platform, it said.<\/p>\n
\"This creates a solid platform for Indoexchange.com to expand
\nits position,\" Indoexchange president Eddie Darajat said in the
\nstatement.<\/p>\n
Indoexchange also said it had appointed PT Ciptadana Sekuritas
\nlead underwriter for its initial public offering early next year.<\/p>\n
It also announced two additional members of its board of
\nmanagement -- the director of PT Danareksa and former president
\nof the Surabaya Stock Exchange, Bibin Busono, and Donna
\nScattolini, an expert in convergent technology and the founder of
\nUnion Tech. Ltd.<\/p>\n
A number of new commissioners have also joined the board,
\nincluding Julian Sandt of TFG and Scott Coffey, a cofounder of
\nthe portal, it said in the statement.<\/p>\n
\"To further strengthen the technical expertise, Onno W. Purbo
\nhas been appointed an adviser,\" the company said.<\/p>\n
Indoexchange.com currently has 87,000 registered users with
