        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2013 Danza has introduced the New D9 with several\nimprovements over the previous generation, including a second-generation\nBlade Battery, increased power, revised suspension, and additional\nsafety and cabin-comfort features.<\/p>\n<p>Bobby Bharata, Head of Product at PT BYD Motor Indonesia, said the\nupdates were intended to improve driving comfort, noting that more than\n10,000 customers in Indonesia had used the Danza D9 since its launch in\n2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe felt there were improvements we needed to make to the New D9. The\naim is to provide a more comfortable driving experience,\u201d Bobby said at\na media embargo event in Jakarta on Monday (12 October).<\/p>\n<p>In terms of performance, the New D9 uses a 115 kWh second-generation\nBlade Battery, an 11 per cent increase on the previous model.<\/p>\n<p>Most notably, the latest BYD battery enables the New D9 to support\nBYD Flash Charging technology, launched in Indonesia alongside the model\nand the Z9 GT on Wednesday (14 October).<\/p>\n<p>The ultra-fast charging technology can charge the battery from 10 per\ncent to 70 per cent in just five minutes, and to 97 per cent in nine\nminutes. This is one of the New D9\u2019s key upgrades, offering a\nsubstantially shorter charging time.<\/p>\n<p>BYD and Danza vehicles equipped with the previous-generation Blade\nBattery do not support charging at this speed, which comes close to the\ntime needed to refuel a conventional car.<\/p>\n<p>Inside, the New D9 now features 16 premium Devialet speakers. The\nmassage-seat function has also been upgraded, from four points on the\nprevious model to 10, with adjustable modes and pressure levels.<\/p>\n<p>The New D9 adds storage space beneath the boot floor and two 40-watt\nwireless chargers at the front. Previously, wireless charging supported\nonly one phone.<\/p>\n<p>Another update is the interior layout. The electronic gear selector\nhas been moved to the steering column, freeing up space and giving the\ncentre console a cleaner appearance.<\/p>\n<p>The New D9 is available in four exterior colours: Cosmos Black,\nArctic White, Starry Night Grey and Whale Sea Blue. BYD announced that\nit will be sold for Rp1.08 billion.<\/p>",
