        "content": "<p>New corruption investigation<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: The Attorney General's Office (AGO) is investigating<br>\nan alleged corruption case at the Ministry of Health that has<br>\ncaused losses to the state of up to Rp 7.3 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Two officials at the Ministry -- Raizekki and Suharyono Saleh<br>\n-- have been named as suspects in the case, which revolves around<br>\nthe tender for the purchase of 788 fogging machines at the<br>\nMinistry's Directorate General for Communicable Diseases.<\/p>\n<p>The Office's spokesman, Barman Zahir, said on Monday that the<br>\ntwo suspects had been charged with abusing their positions to<br>\nenrich themselves.<\/p>\n<p>Raizekki was the head of the fogging machine provision<br>\nproject, which was funded by foreign loans, while Suharyono was<br>\nthe chairman of the tender team.<\/p>\n<p>Sutarip, a member of the tender committee, testified as a<br>\nwitness that Suharyono canceled the first tender but directly set<br>\nup a new tender committee without informing him. -- Antara<\/p>",
