        "content": "<p>New bridge links Bogor villages<\/p>\n<p>BOGOR: Residents living in the Bogor regency villages of Leuwi<br>\nKaret, Klapa Nunggal district, and Tajur, Citeurep district, can<br>\nnow visit each other with ease after a bridge connecting the two<br>\nvillages was inaugurated on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>\"For 20 years we have been expecting to have this kind of<br>\nbridge because previously we had to use a bridge made of coconut<br>\ntree trunks and bamboo,\" Leuwi Karet resident Eman said.<\/p>\n<p>The 50-meter-long bridge was built by cement producer PT<br>\nIndocement following a proposal submitted by Leuwi Karet<br>\nresidents.<\/p>\n<p>\"It used to take one hour to reach Citeureup market but now it<br>\nonly takes 10 minutes,\" Eman added.<\/p>\n<p>The Rp 600 million bridge was inaugurated for use by Bogor<br>\ndeputy regent Nana Suryana.<\/p>\n<p>Indocement human resource development director Iwa Kartiwa<br>\nexpressed hope that residents could improve their lives because<br>\nof the new bridge. - JP<\/p>",
