New battalion commander<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): City Military chief Maj. Gen. Wiranto installed
\nMaj. Hari Krisnomo as the new commander of the Bekasi-based Field
\nArtillery Battalion 7\/105 on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Hari Krisnomo, previously chief of staff of the Kerawang
\nMilitary District in West Java, replaced Lt. Col. Yayat Hidayat,
\nwho has been promoted to chief of the Bekasi Military District.<\/p>\n
Wiranto said in his speech that quality improvement of a
\nbattalion should be realized through the development of both
\npersonnel and equipment. A favorable environment helps soldiers
\ncarry out their duties in guarding the city, he added.<\/p>\n
He demanded that the battalion anticipate and be prepared to
\nface any security disturbances.<\/p>\n
To back up the City Military Command, troops of the artillery
\nbattalion should be professional and skillful in using weapons in
