        "content": "<p>The government, through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources\n(ESDM), plans to target the mandatory implementation of 50% biodiesel\nblending (B50) in diesel fuel starting next 1 July. Minister of Energy\nand Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia revealed he will hold a meeting\nwith the trial team over the next week to ensure the readiness of the\nnew B50 fuel type\u2019s implementation. \u201cB50, according to schedule, will be\nimplemented on 1 July 2026. Perhaps in one more week I will hold a\nmeeting with the trial team. Currently, we are still continuing trials,\u201d\nBahlil said on Monday (15\/6\/2026). According to trial results, B50 shows\npositive development, with final-stage trials underway to assess the\nplan\u2019s readiness. So far, around 80-90% of testing parameters have\nyielded good results. \u201cAround 80-90% of trial results, alhamdulillah,\nare good. Even the water content compared to B40 is better in B50.\nHowever, the final results will be conveyed after the final evaluation\nmeeting,\u201d he stated. With the implementation of B50, it is hoped\nto provide a social impact through labour absorption reaching\napproximately 2.2 million people.
