The Jakarta Provincial Population and Civil\nRegistration Office (Dukcapil) has recorded 1,776 new arrivals entering\nby 1 April 2026, with a relatively balanced composition between men and\nwomen, though still dominated by men.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith a composition of 891 men (50.17 percent) and 885 women (49.83\npercent),\u201d said the Head of the Jakarta Provincial Dukcapil, Denny Wahyu\nHaryanto, in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday (2\/4).<\/p>\n
From a demographic perspective, the majority of arrivals are in the\nproductive age range of 15 to 64 years, accounting for 79.34 percent,\nindicating that population movement to the capital continues to be\ndriven by work needs and economic opportunities after the Eid\nperiod.<\/p>\n
To anticipate the surge in urbanisation, the DKI Jakarta Provincial\nGovernment (Pemprov) is intensifying outreach as well as door-to-door\nservices for registering arrivals. To facilitate the registration process, DKI Jakarta\u2019s Dukcapil also\nprovides a digital platform through the citizen data application, which\ncan be accessed by RT\/RW administrators.
